IMPROVE YOUR PLAY

AN INSTRUCTOR CAN HELP ACCELERATE YOUR LEARNING

Becoming a good shooter and/or a good pool player doesn't happen over night.  It comes with practice.  And it also comes with a good instructor, one who can help accelerate your learning.  You could learn on your own, but it likely will take quite a bit more time, and you could develop bad form and habits that will need to be eradicated and fixed.

About

ABOUT ME

I have been playing pool since my early years, the age of thirteen (13), in fact.  I began my journey when my father bought the family a pool table back in the late 1960’s.  From there, it has been a ride that I would characterize as full of fun and enjoyment!

I have played pool in all sorts of leagues, including BCA, APA, TAP, and my own Flow Masters Pool, and have done so for quite some time.  My first journey with league play began in 1997 with "The Association for Pool" (TAP). And I I have been playing ever since.

I have played in all sorts of amateur tournaments, both at the team level and as an individual.  And, in that respect, it continues to this day.

I love pool and I enjoy sharing what I know!  My philosophy, which has carried me a long way and allowed me to meet and become friends with a lot of people, is “What I know, I’ll share!  There’s no need to keep it to myself, as the better approach and attitude is to share willingly and cheerfully!"

We Provide

PERSONAL TRAINING

If you prefer your pool training sessions to be more personal, i.e., away from the public eye and free of distractions, such as loud music and loud people, we understand completely!

How I Can Help You

HELPING THE COMMUNITY

Billiards can help the community in many ways, like bringing people together to promote social interaction, serving as a means of physical activity and exercise, helping disparate groups socialize and learn about/from each other, and bringing both youth and seniors together so they can learn from and help each other!

WHAT AWLBA STUDENTS
ARE SAYING

Playing Pool

"Spike is an AMAZING teacher!  My shooting skills and shot choices have improved exponentially, even after only two sessions. I've had several of my experienced friends tell me they noticed a marked difference in my game.  I rate him 30 out of 10, and I will keep coming back!"
